IF YOU FEEL GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO SPOT DECEPTION WITHIN THE CHURCH, YOU'RE ALREADY IN DECEPTION

When we take our eyes off Jesus and put it on "spotting deception" we are doing exactly what the demonic wants us to. Jesus never told his disciples to look for deception. He told them to be aware of it. That is why only a fraction of Jesus' teachings had to do with being aware of deception. The majority of his messages had to do with "spotting God" because that is how a person will know how to detect deception. When they are experts on the real thing, they will spot the false.

Many Pastors teach their congregation how to spot the counterfeit. Instead they need to teach them how to spot the genuine article. "Spotting God" will keep them safe more than anything. God needs to be the judge on what is genuine and what isn't. When pastors are "spotting deception" for the people, the pastors are actually doing what cult leaders do. They train their congregation to be reliant on the pastor instead of God. The pastor takes the place of the Holy Spirit for the believer and now the believer is making their pastor their God.. Pastors need to teach their congregation how to hear and follow God for themselves. That is the biblical method..
